One small burner at every place — the whole room scented the same way.

Sufra, “the laid table”, is a set of identical Anbar mini mabakhir in one colour: a hand-blown glass dish on a gilded stand, about 13 cm tall. Line them along a wedding table, set one on each majlis side table for Ramadan, or give one to each friend as she leaves.

• For bakhoor and oud chips on a charcoal disc, or for aroma oil over a tealight
• Mouth-blown in Cairo and finished in 24K liquid gold
• All burners in the same colour — Rose, Honey, Blue, Green or Mauve
