Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all orders placed with Grand Bazaar, a handmade-glass workshop and exporter based in Cairo, Egypt (“we”, “us”). By placing an order on grandbazaareg.com or by confirming a pro-forma invoice, you agree to these Terms.
1. Wholesale Nature of Our Store
Our products are sold primarily to business buyers — importers, distributors, retailers and brands. Listed unit prices are sample prices; wholesale tier pricing applies from 100 pieces per model as displayed on each product page. Colours may be mixed within a model at no extra charge.
2. Ordering & Payment
- Orders under $2,000: secure card or PayPal payment at checkout.
- Orders over $2,000: bank wire transfer (T/T) — 30% deposit to start production, 70% balance before shipment, after you approve pre-shipment photos.
- Accepted currencies: USD, EUR, GBP. Pro-forma invoices are issued with our registered company details.
3. Production & Lead Times
Made-to-order runs take 15–25 days from deposit receipt and confirmation of specifications. Lead times are estimates given in good faith; we notify you promptly of any delay. Samples dispatch within 2 business days.
4. Shipping, Risk & Title
Shipping terms, incoterms and documentation are described in our Shipping Policy. Risk transfers according to the agreed incoterm (EXW Cairo, FOB Alexandria, or DAP). Title transfers on receipt of full payment.
5. Breakage & Claims
Transit breakage is covered under our Refund & Breakage Policy. Claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence.
6. Custom & Private-Label Work
- Custom colours, gold work, engraving and private-label packaging are available from 100 pieces.
- You warrant that any artwork, logo or design you supply does not infringe third-party rights, and you indemnify us against claims arising from its use.
- Custom work is confirmed by an approved pre-production sample; deposits on custom runs are non-refundable once production starts.
7. Handmade Product Disclaimer
Every piece is mouth-blown and finished by hand. Small variations in colour, thickness and form are inherent characteristics, not defects.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or delays caused by carriers, customs or force majeure.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Both parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute amicably before resorting to the courts of Cairo, Egypt.
