A ribbed glass heart on a foot — the bottle for February and for weddings.

Qalb, “heart”, is blown as a wide inverted heart with deep optic ribs, set on a fluted foot and closed with a tall spire stopper. The neck and foot are ringed in 24K gold. At around 100 ml it is a decanter for oud oil or a display bottle for a perfume counter.

It is the hero of our Valentine’s and wedding assortments and goes into the Qarura large-bottle sample kit. Buy it in threes — rose, honey and green — and it sells as a trio.

Each piece is mouth-blown and finished by hand in our Cairo workshop; small variations in shape, colour and decoration are the signature of the craft.
