Egyptian Glass Date Bowl — Ribbed Footed Tamriya, 24K Gold Rim, 14 cm (Model 154)

A deeper tamriya for the iftar table — ribbed, footed and edged in gold.

Where our scalloped Tamriya (Model 152) is shallow and open, this bowl is deep and upright, so it holds a generous pile of dates without spilling. The body is mouth-blown into an optic-ribbed mould and finished with a straight 24K gold rim. It stands on a double knop stem — two ribbed glass beads divided by a fine gold ring — and a wide ribbed foot with a gold-lined edge that catches the light from every side of the table.

Each piece is blown and gilded by hand in our Cairo workshop, so the ribs, the depth of colour and the gold lines vary slightly from piece to piece — the signature of genuine handmade glass.
