A pearl of a bottle — eight centimetres, three colours, a collar of beads.

Durra, “pearl”, is a palm-sized bottle: a pale globe body, a contrasting pink neck between two 24K gold rings, a coloured foot and a collar of clear glass beads at the shoulder. Supplied with its stopper. Capacity is a few millilitres — a sample of attar or a favour’s worth of oil.

It is our lowest-priced bottle with applied work on it, built for wedding favours, hotel amenities and attar sample sets, and it packs two hundred to a carton.

Each piece is mouth-blown and finished by hand in our Cairo workshop; small variations in shape, colour and decoration are the signature of the craft.
